Sound Control Technologies RC-SDA Gen3 Poly to VISCA Bridge and HDMI Distribution Amplifier
A Poly codec and a VISCA camera do not speak the same serial dialect, which is normally the point at which a working room gets replaced wholesale. The RC-SDA Gen3 sits between them and translates RS-232 commands in both directions, so an installed Poly system can take a current PTZ camera from another manufacturer, or a Poly camera can be kept alive under a different head end.
It also carries a 1x2 4K60 HDMI distribution amplifier, which covers the second display or the switcher feed that these rooms usually need anyway. Order the RC-SDA option when the camera is on the far end of an SCT extension kit. The RC-SDA-PE4 option instead ships the mini-HDCI and HDCI cable set for a Poly camera and codec wired straight to the module. Both include the WPS-12 power supply.
