Rode RØDE Mini Boompole

The Mini Boompole is a compact aluminium boompole for run-and-gun location recording where a full-size pole is more than the shot needs. It extends to a 6.5 foot reach and weighs just 1.3 pounds, letting a solo operator swing a microphone into position and follow a moving source with one hand. An ultra-smooth extension and retraction system keeps the sections silent so no rattle is picked up on the take.

Collapsed to 840 mm, it fits easily into a run bag, and a lock/release mechanism holds each section firmly at length. The 3/8 inch thread on the end accepts Rode shockmounts such as the SM3, SM4 and SM5, so it mounts a shotgun mic securely and swivels to aim it precisely.
