RDL HR-DSX4
The RDL HR-DSX4 is a 4x1 digital audio selector that routes one of four digital sources to a single output using solid-state switching. Each of the four inputs can arrive on any of three jacks, S/PDIF optical, S/PDIF or AES-3ID coaxial, or AES/EBU XLR, and the single output is switch-selectable to deliver AES/EBU, S/PDIF coaxial, S/PDIF optical or AES-3ID. Operation runs up to 24 bits and 192 kHz.
The AES/EBU inputs and output are 110 ohm terminated on transformer-isolated XLRs, while the S/PDIF coaxial and AES-3ID signals connect through 75 ohm terminated phono jacks. RDL's Sure-Lok auto recovery supervision watches for the conditions that cause latch-up and reinitiates signal lock, keeping the selector stable across the varied sources found in professional installations.
