RDL HR-ADC1 Stereo Analog-To-Digital Converter
The RDL HR-ADC1 is a stereo analog-to-digital converter for demanding installation and broadcast work, taking a line-level analog pair and delivering a clean digital output at up to 24 bits and 192 kHz. Front-panel settings select the bit depth (16, 20 or 24) and sample rate (44.1, 48, 88.2, 96, 176.4 or 192 kHz), and the converter carries very low distortion of 0.0006%, noise near -135 dB and a frequency response flat to within 0.05 dB.
Digital output is available simultaneously in AES/EBU, AES-3ID and S/PDIF on the appropriate connectors: a transformer-isolated 110 ohm AES/EBU XLR, a 75 ohm S/PDIF RCA jack and a 75 ohm AES-3ID BNC. An external sync input lets the HR-ADC1 lock to a house reference so it drops cleanly into a larger digital audio chain.
