RDL HR-DDA4 1x4 Digital Audio Distribution Amplifier
The RDL HR-DDA4 is a 1x4 digital audio distribution amplifier that takes one digital source and drives four independent outputs without degrading the signal. It automatically detects a valid input on any of its four input jacks, whether S/PDIF optical, S/PDIF coaxial, AES-3ID or AES/EBU, then decodes, reclocks and retransmits that stream to four individually buffered outputs. Sample rates from 32 kHz to 192 kHz and resolutions from 16 to 24 bits pass through cleanly.
Each of the four outputs is switch-selectable to deliver AES/EBU, S/PDIF coaxial or AES-3ID, so a single source can fan out to gear expecting different formats. Connections span twelve output jacks total: four transformer-isolated 110 ohm AES/EBU XLRs, four 75 ohm S/PDIF coaxial phono jacks and four 75 ohm AES-3ID BNCs. The unit runs from 24 Vdc supplied through the detachable terminal block or the DC power jack.
