RCF RDNet Control 8 Eight-Subnet Network Interface

The RDNet Control 8 is the full-scale RDNet master. Eight subnets of up to 32 devices each give 256 devices in a bus topology, or 128 in a ring, and it talks directly to the DSP inside every TT+ line array module over RDNet. Data reaches the engineer by USB at front of house or by Ethernet from a remote position.

It is a 19-inch 1U chassis running on 90 to 240 V mains at 15 W, with RJ45 and XLR connectors and an SD card slot for logging up to 4 GB. The metal case weighs 5.97 lbs. This is the unit to specify when a hang is large enough that per-module monitoring during the show matters, not just setup.
