Tascam IF-E100 Ethernet Control Expansion Card

The IF-E100 gives a CD-400U or MP-800U media player a network control port, which is how these units get folded into a Q-SYS or similar control system rather than being driven from the front panel. The card fits the player's expansion slot and presents an RJ-45 connector.

Control is Telnet on port 23 over 100BASE-TX using Cat5e or better cabling, with a numeric password of up to ten digits. The card measures 75 by 31 by 54.8 mm and weighs 33 g. It is the standard route to remote transport control and status polling on an installed background music or paging source.
