Mack 3-Year Diamond Warranty - Pro Camera up to $2,999
The Diamond contract is Mack's top coverage tier, and it is written to cover the failures a standard extended warranty will not touch. Alongside manufacturer defects it covers impact damage, sand and grit damage, accidental and unintentional abuse, mechanical malfunctions, and normal and abnormal wear and tear - which is to say the way a working camera actually breaks, rather than the way a shelf queen does.
This version runs three years and covers a professional camera valued up to $2,999. Two free CCD cleanings for the life of the contract and one free video head cleaning per year are included. Note that Diamond coverage begins from the date of your camera purchase, not from the end of the manufacturer warranty, so it is bought with the body rather than added later.
