PreSonus HD Professional Monitoring Headphones
Two headphones for two different jobs. The HD7 uses a patented semi-open sound chamber, which trades isolation for a more natural presentation and lower listening fatigue over a long session, with deep low frequencies, accurate midrange, and extended treble. The lightweight ergonomic frame adjusts to any head size, which matters when a pair lives on a studio hook and gets worn by whoever is next.
The HD9 is the closed-back option, for tracking where headphone bleed into an open microphone is the problem to solve. It runs 45 mm dynamic neodymium drivers with a tailored response from 10 Hz to 26 kHz and handles 900 mW per channel into 40 ohms, so it stays clean at the levels a drummer needs against a loud kit.
