The EZ is the pancake version of the standard zoom: 22.5mm deep and 93g, with a motorised barrel that retracts flush when the camera powers down. On an OM-5 or a compact body it turns the camera into something that fits a coat pocket, which is a different tool from the same camera with a conventional zoom on the front.

Range is 28-84mm equivalent, closest focus 0.2m, and MSC autofocus is quiet enough for video, where the power zoom also gives smooth motorised focal-length changes. 37mm filter thread. Silver finish, to match silver bodies and primes.
