Every lens covers full-frame 35mm and beyond and runs a 14-blade non-linear iris, which is what keeps the out-of-focus rendering round and smooth rather than polygonal as the aperture closes.

Tuning is chosen at manufacture rather than added later, and this set is available in two of the three factory profiles. S-Tuned is the Straight option, the most corrected and neutral rendering in the range. X-Tuned is Expressive, dialing in the most flare, the lowest saturation, and the heaviest contrast roll-off toward the edge of frame. Whichever profile you pick applies consistently across all six lenses, so a scene cut between focal lengths holds one look. All Blackwing7 lenses share a 114mm front outside diameter and 0.8 MOD focus and iris gearing, so a swap through the matte box takes seconds without re-clamping follow focus or filter stages.
