Aida Imaging AIDA CS-0550V HD Varifocal 5.0-50mm Manual Iris CS Mount Lens

The AIDA CS-0550V is a 10x varifocal lens for CS-mount HD cameras, covering a 5.0 to 50mm range at a fast f/1.4 maximum aperture. Field of view runs from roughly 60 degrees at the wide end down to about 6 degrees at full telephoto on a 1/3-inch sensor, giving it enough reach for a camera mounted well back from the subject: a rear-of-room house of worship camera, a lecture-capture setup, or a long hallway security view. Focus, iris, and zoom are all manual rings on the lens barrel.

At 44 x 77.2mm and just 6 grams, it is light enough not to strain a small pan/tilt housing, and it is tuned specifically for AIDA's Full HD CS-mount cameras while remaining compatible with other 1/3-inch and 1.27-inch sensor CS-mount bodies. Once set, the manual iris and focus stay put, which is useful for a fixed installation where the shot is dialed in once and left alone.
