OConnor Ball Base
A ball base is the fastest way to level a head on location: drop the head into the bowl, set the bubble, lock. These are the OConnor bases that convert a head from Mitchell to bowl mounting, or replace one that has been left on a tripod somewhere.
08365 is the 100 mm ball base supplied in the Ultimate 1040 fluid head package, where it pairs with the S2052-1100 100 mm flowtech tiedown and sits in the 100 mm bowl of the 30L or flowtech 100. 08414 is the 150 mm ball base supplied in the Ultimate 2560, 2575D and 2575E packages, pairing with the C1234-1017 tiedown and dropping into a 150 mm bowl on the 60L or Cine HD. Both bases need their matching tiedown to work; order it at the same time if you do not already have one.
