Marantz PMD-750

The PMD-750 is a complete camera-mount wireless rig: a PMD-750R receiver that drops into a DSLR hot shoe and a PMD-750T belt-pack transmitter with a locking 4-pin mini-XLR input for the supplied lavalier. It works in the 2.401-2.483 GHz band across 16 pairing channels, which means no UHF coordination, no scanning for a clear TV channel and no license - power both halves up, pair them, and roll. The receiver's locking mini-XLR output cable feeds the camera, and the belt clip on the transmitter is built to survive a shirt tug.

Audio is carried uncompressed at 96 kHz/24-bit with 4.5 ms of latency, a 50 Hz - 18 kHz response and better than 100 dB of dynamic range, over a working range of about 100 feet. Each unit runs on two AA batteries. The receiver pairs with two transmitters at once for a two-person interview, and the system grows with an extra PMD-750T belt pack or a PMD-750TA plug-on transmitter for a handheld, both sold separately. The box holds the receiver, the belt-pack transmitter, an omnidirectional lavalier microphone, foam and fuzzy windscreens, and the receiver output cable.
