Martin JEM K1 Haze Fluid
JEM K1 is the haze fluid developed for the JEM K1 Hazer, and it is the only formula that machine should be run on. It is water-based, produced with ultra-pure de-ionized water, and engineered for a high degree of particle uniformity so the haze fills a room evenly instead of leaving hot patches where beams read differently from one side of the stage to the other.
The practical arguments for it are hang time and consumption: the fluid stays in suspension long enough to hold an even atmosphere between cues, and the K1 draws very little of it doing so. Being water-based, it leaves minimal residue on lenses, scenery and soft goods. Store containers upright between 10 and 30 degrees C, with a sealed shelf life of up to five years reduced by two years once opened, and an operating range of 5 to 40 degrees C. Safety data sheets are published in ten languages. Stocked as a 2.5 litre four-pack, with a 220 litre container available made to order on a four to eight week lead time.
