Martin P3 PowerPort 1500 Power and Data Distributor

The P3 PowerPort 1500 sits between a P3 system controller and the fixtures, converting mains and the gigabit P3 signal into four combined power-and-data outputs on 4-pin XLR. Each output feeds a daisy chain of Sceptron, Fatron, Dotron, VC-Grid, VC-Strip, PixLine or Exterior Dot-HP fixtures, so a run needs one hybrid cable instead of separate power and data. Total capacity is 1540 W with every connected fixture at full intensity, protected by four 10 A slow-blow fuses.

Status is readable at a glance: a multicolor device LED plus four power and four data LEDs, and a pushbutton calls up local test patterns or resets the device without a controller present. The P3 link is hot pluggable and electrically isolated at every connection, on shielded Cat 5e or better, up to 100 m between devices. The chassis is steel and aluminium in matte black, 19 inch 2U, 10 kg, and mounts in a rack, on a wall or flown from rigging clamps. A power input cable is not included and should be ordered with the unit.
