Martin P3 PowerPort 1000 IP Power and Data Distributor, Rental Model

The rental model of the P3 PowerPort 1000 IP is the version built to be rigged, struck and rigged again outdoors. Connections are all touring-standard and weather-sealed: Neutrik PowerCON TRUE1 for mains, Neutrik EtherCON Cat 6 for the P3 link, and four 6-pin IP66-rated BBD sockets carrying combined power and data to the fixtures. The enclosure is matte black aluminium rated IP65 and NEMA Type 3, with C5-M marine corrosion resistance, and it hangs from rigging clamps or stands on its own.

Capacity is 1000 W across the four outputs with every connected fixture at full intensity, and idle draw is 22 W with the fixtures powered down. Four power LEDs, four data LEDs and a multicolor device LED report state, and a pushbutton runs local test patterns or resets the unit; both can be disabled remotely once a show is set. The P3 signal is hot pluggable and isolated at every connection, on shielded Cat 5e or better, up to 100 m per hop and further through a switch or fiber. The unit measures 520 by 460 by 146 mm and weighs 8.5 kg.
