Martin Line-Up Gobo for Exterior Projection
Exterior Projection 500 and 1000 are long-throw gobo projectors used to place logos and patterns on building facades, and getting one aimed and focused correctly from a lift or a rooftop is not a job for trial and error. The line-up gobo is a crosshair/alignment pattern that drops into the gobo holder in place of the show gobo, so the crew can square up the projection and dial in focus before swapping in the real artwork.
It is sized to the same gobo holder as the fixture it matches, so it is not interchangeable between the 500 and 1000 platforms. Once alignment is set, the line-up gobo comes back out and the job gobo goes in.
