Kramer KDS-8 Zero Latency 4K HDR SDVoE Video Streaming Transceiver over Copper
The Kramer KDS-8 is an SDVoE video streaming transceiver over copper that the installer configures as either an encoder or a decoder, so one part number covers both ends of a link and the spares holding is halved.
SDVoE is a zero-latency, visually lossless transport, and this unit implements the standard codec fully rather than a partial subset, which is what lets it interoperate in a mixed SDVoE system. Maximum resolution is 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 with HDR, streaming is multicast or unicast, and the unit is powered by the network over PoE. Video wall and multiview composition are supported, and the rear panel carries 10GbE, 1GbE, HDMI, IR, RS-232, and unbalanced stereo.
