JBL Professional JBL SRX922
The SRX922 is an acoustically three-way, bi-amplified powered box in a trapezoidal cabinet. Two JBL 2273G 12-inch woofers in a symmetrical dipole arrangement flank a horn-loaded 196H-1 6-inch midrange and a 2408H-1 compression driver, on dual 90 by 60 degree Progressive Transition waveguides. Output is 138 dB with response to 40 Hz through four large flared ports.
Splitting the midrange off onto its own horn lets the two 12-inch drivers work in the band where they are most efficient, which is how the cabinet gets more output than a conventional single-15 three-way at a smaller size. Continuous power is 1,100 W, split 550 W LF and 550 W MHF, and eight QuickLink M10 points handle rigging.
