The LX5500 delivers 500 watts continuous at 4 ohms (330 W at 8 ohms) from a Class D power section driven by a real Class A, 12AX7-tube preamp, weighing just 8 pounds. Controls cover Bass (+8/-14 dB at 80 Hz), Treble (+5/-20 dB at 6 kHz), a sweepable Frequency knob from 200 Hz to 800 Hz, a Shape voicing control, a Brite button, and a footswitchable Drive circuit with a fixed 2:1 compressor for consistent low-end control.
