Hartke HD500 500-Watt 2x10 Bass Combo Amplifier
The HD500 pairs two 10-inch HyDrive drivers with a 500-watt Class D power section in a cabinet that weighs about 35 pounds. The HyDrive cone is a paper and aluminum hybrid on a neodymium magnet, which is where the combo gets its mix of low-end warmth and the hard upper attack Hartke is known for. It is enough amplifier for rehearsal rooms, small clubs, and tracking sessions without a separate head and cabinet.
Controls sit on the top panel: three-band EQ at 70 Hz, 700 Hz, and 5 kHz, plus Hartke's Shape circuit with a variable filter that sweeps from 100 Hz to 900 Hz for a scooped or mid-forward voice. Connections include a 1/4-inch bass input, effects loop, balanced XLR direct out for the front-of-house feed, a 1/8-inch stereo aux input for play-along, and a 1/4-inch headphone jack. A perforated steel grille and molded strap handle cover the practical side.
