Hartke LH1000 1000-Watt Bass Amplifier Head
The LH1000 takes the same 12AX7 Class A tube front end as the LH500 and puts a two-channel power amp behind it. In dual parallel mode it drives a pair of cabinets at 320 watts each into 4 ohms or 545 watts each into 2 ohms; bridged, it delivers 1100 watts into a single 4-ohm load. That covers a full 8x10 stack or a pair of cabinets run separately, from one head.
Tone controls stay in the LH family idiom: a passive tone stack with bass and treble shelves plus Brite and Limiter switches, so the amp is shaped by ear rather than by menu. Separate passive and active input sensitivities handle any bass, an effects loop at 0 dBm send and return connects outboard gear, and the two-bay metal chassis with steel faceplate and handles is built for touring.
