Genustech Gen X Baseplate

The Gen X Plate is built around Genustech's QR Lock quick-release system, so a camera can come off the rig and go back on at the same position without re-shimming rods every time. Four height-adjustment posts and a pair of rod bracket adaptors let the same plate sit a small mirrorless body or a larger cinema camera like a RED or Canon C-series at the same optical height, and the quick-release plate itself travels 200mm to balance the load front to back.

The plate ships with a pair of 15mm LWS rods at 215mm and mounting screws, and steps up to 250mm or 350mm carbon fiber rods when a longer rod run is needed for a matte box or follow focus further out front.
