Standard 15mm rod support systems are only as long as the rods on them, and this pair extends that reach to 350mm (13 3/4 inches), enough room to carry a matte box, follow focus, servo motor, battery plate, or external recorder further out from the camera body without crowding the rig.

Each rod is black-anodized aluminum with an inner threaded core, so a shorter rod run can be extended further with additional Genustech rod sections rather than needing a single longer pair.
