Genustech G-DCFR 15mm Carbon Fiber Rods, Pair End Caps, At A Fraction Of The Weight

These are 15mm LWS rods in high grade carbon fiber rather than metal, which matters on a shoulder rig or a jib where every accessory forward of the camera is weight you carry. The lay-up is cross hatched for bi-directional strength, so the rods resist bending in any plane rather than just one, and the finish is matte to keep them from throwing reflections into the lens or onto the talent.

Each rod is capped in metal for strength at the ends, where clamps bite and where rods take the knock going in and out of a case. The end caps are tapered so rods feed into a clamp or a rod extender without fighting them. Sold as a pair, in 450 mm and 550 mm lengths.
