Fujinon XA20x4.1BMA 20x Lens for 1/3" Cameras

The XA20x4.1BMA is the Fujinon 20x that JVC specified for its 1/3-inch ProHD shoulder cameras, and it is one of the widest-to-longest ranges you can put on that format: 4.1mm to 82mm, which works out to roughly 29mm to 580mm in 35mm terms. That means one lens covers the full-court wide from the baseline and the tight two-shot from across the room without a change or an extender. It opens to F1.6 at the wide end and holds F3.0 at full telephoto, so it keeps working as the gym lights come down.

An optical image stabilizer is built into the lens, which is the difference between a usable and an unusable shot at 580mm equivalent off the shoulder, and Fujinon's chromatic aberration correction keeps color fringing off high-contrast edges at the long end. Control is servo zoom with manual focus and iris rings, so an operator still has direct hands on exposure and focus. It mounts on the 1/3-inch B4 bayonet and takes 72mm screw-in filters.
