Fujinon XT17sx4.5BRM-K3 17x HD ENG Lens for 1/3" Cameras

The XT17sx4.5BRM is the workhorse of Fujinon's eXceed line for 1/3-inch HD ENG cameras: a 17x zoom running 4.5mm to 77mm that holds a 1:1.6 maximum aperture across the entire range, so the shot does not get darker as you push in. The 4.5mm wide end is what earns it its keep in a scrum, a school gym or a cramped news presser, and Fujinon's EBC coating keeps flare down when the sun or a lighting grid ends up in frame. Inner focus means the barrel does not change length as you rack, which keeps a matte box and a follow focus honest.

Two operating features separate it from a plain zoom. Quick Zoom snaps the lens to full telephoto so an operator can check critical focus and then jump back to the framed shot; Cruising Zoom holds a set zoom speed hands-free through a long move. Handling is via the eXceed semi-servo drive unit - servo zoom on the ergonomic grip, manual focus and iris rings for the operator - and the lens mounts on the 1/3-inch B4 bayonet used by JVC ProHD shoulder cameras.
