The UA22x4.8BERD-S10 covers 4.8mm to 106mm on a 2/3-inch broadcast camera, which is a wider starting point than the UA18x5.5 it follows while adding reach at the long end. At a subject distance of 10 m the wide end takes in roughly 3 m more horizontally than the UA18x5.5, enough to hold a full stage at a concert or fit a whole crew into a cramped interior, and the 22x ratio still pulls a single face out of a stadium crowd.

Fujifilm keeps the barrel to about 251mm and 2.17 kg so it stays workable on a shoulder through a long shift. HT-EBC multi-layer coating holds transmittance and color accuracy high enough for HDR work in high-contrast scenes such as a stadium at dusk, minimum object distance stays at 0.4 m across the whole zoom range, and 16-bit zoom and focus encoders report position finely enough for virtual and remote production.
