Fujinon ERD-40A-D01 Digital Zoom Rate Demand Unit

The ERD-40A-D01 is Fujinon's digital zoom rate demand unit, the rocker-style control that mounts on a lens handle and drives servo zoom on a Premier, Select or Broadcast series lens. It connects to the lens's servo zoom connector with a 12-pin cable, giving an operator proportional zoom speed rather than the fixed rate of a purely mechanical control.

The unit sets zoom direction, zoom speed, and auxiliary selection, and its Zoom Mode Switch lets an operator choose between zoom-speed curve options to match the shot. It mounts with a Fujinon MCA-37 clamp and is the zoom half of both the MS-15D semi-servo kit and the SS-15D full-servo control kit.
