The UA46x13.5BERD-G1 is one of Fujinon's highest-ratio 4K portable lenses, running 13.5mm to 621mm at a 46x zoom ratio and doubling to 27-1242mm with the built-in 2x extender flipped in. That reach is aimed at stadium sports and large-venue coverage, where the camera position is fixed far from the action and there is no substitute for raw focal length.

Maximum aperture runs f/2.8 from 13.5mm to 316mm before easing to f/5.5 at full telephoto, and minimum object distance is 2.8 m, both typical trade-offs for a lens built to reach this far. At 5.8 kg without the hood it is built for a tripod-mounted 2/3-inch broadcast camera rather than a shoulder rig.
