Earthworks FM FlexMic Podium Gooseneck Microphone
The FM and FMR FlexMic goosenecks are Earthworks' original podium condensers, built for lecterns and fixed installs where the microphone has to disappear visually and sound identical every time it is repositioned. A 20 Hz to 20 kHz response and a fast capsule keep a speaker's voice natural rather than boxy, and the metal mesh windscreen with foam layers controls plosives without dulling the top end.
FM models use a fully flexible gooseneck; FMR models have a rigid center section that holds its aim after adjustment, which installers prefer on a podium that gets repositioned daily. Both are available in cardioid or hypercardioid pickup (the /HC suffix), and both run on standard 24 to 48 V phantom power over a 3-pin XLR.
