Electro-Voice HM7 Supercardioid Condenser Headset Microphone
The HM7 is the tighter-pattern headset in the EV line. A back-electret condenser element with a supercardioid pattern gives it more rejection off-axis than a cardioid headworn mic, which is what you want on a loud stage or a lectern sitting in front of the PA. It works on a wireless bodypack or on wired phantom power.
A contoured behind-the-head band holds it in place while leaving the performer free to move, and the 4 mm flexible gooseneck lets you park the capsule precisely - EV's own guidance is to set it with the windscreen just touching the lips. At 70 g it disappears on the head, the finish is nonreflective black matte, and a windscreen is included. The output ends in a Switchcraft TA-series 4-pin connector; check the connector against your bodypack's spec.
