Electro-Voice RE3-BPHW Wireless Headworn System
The HW3 puts a supercardioid condenser element on a gooseneck a couple of inches from the mouth, which is the single most reliable way to get a loud, clean signal out of a presenter who will not stand still. The headband is designed to stay put through a full session, and the mic head is shock mounted so footsteps and fidgeting do not arrive as thumps.
It ships with the RE3-BPT metal-body bodypack and the RE3-RX true-diversity receiver, which scans for an open frequency and syncs the pack over infrared. Bands are ordered individually: 5L and 5H tune across 36 MHz with 1440 channels, and 6M covers 653 to 663 MHz in the duplex gap.
