ESE ES-978 7 Inch SMPTE/EBU Timecode Display

The ES-978 is the large-format member of ESE's SMPTE/EBU display line, putting eight 7 inch red LED digits on a wall-mount enclosure that stays readable from well past 250 feet. It reads both SMPTE and EBU code bi-directionally, tracking from a twentieth up to ten times play speed, and switches between the time readout and the user-bit digits carried alongside it.

Time displays in 12 or 24 hour format, error detection with a bypass keeps the reading flicker-free through dropouts, a drop-frame indicator shows the mode in play, and a rear terminal-block Hold control freezes the display for an operator to log a value. The black-textured aluminum enclosure measures 9" H x 56.25" W x 3.5" D and runs on universal 90-264 VAC.
