EAW MW15 MicroWedge 15 inch Coaxial Stage Monitor

The MW15 is the largest of the EAW MicroWedge floor monitors. Its 15-inch vented cone driver is coaxial with a horn-loaded compression driver on a 1.4-inch exit and a 3-inch voice coil, so the whole cabinet behaves as a single acoustic source and the performer hears the same balance whether they are standing over it or a step to the side. Coverage is 90 degrees horizontally and vertically, and maximum SPL is 140 dB.

It can run single-amped with a passive crossover or bi-amped with external DSP handling the two-way filters and high-pass, which is how most touring rigs deploy it. Connections are NL4 input with a loop through for daisy-chaining a monitor line. The cabinet is 14.1 inches tall by 20.37 wide by 24.17 deep and weighs 72.5 pounds, and accessories include the Microleg 4-inch riser and a pole adapter for use as a small front-of-house box.
