EAW JF60z 100 x 100 Degree Two-Way Compact Full-Range Loudspeaker
The JF60z is the small end of EAW's JF line: one 6.5 inch cone in a sealed chamber crossed passively to a 1.3 inch dome on a waveguide plate, running from a single amplifier channel with an EAW high-pass filter in front of it. The conical pattern is 100 degrees in both planes and the waveguide rotates, so the same box covers a wide room laid flat or a deep one turned on its side, which is what makes it useful as a fill or delay element hung off a bigger system rather than only as a standalone speaker.
Coverage runs 83 Hz to 20 kHz at 88 dB sensitivity into a nominal 8 ohms, with a calculated axial output limit of 111 dB average and 117 dB peak. The cabinet is Baltic birch plywood in wear-resistant textured paint, with a foam-backed grille hiding the drivers, and mounting points on the top, bottom and sides take eyebolts, U-brackets, yoke brackets or an OmniMount 30.0 series plate. Black and white are stock colours; both are on this page. EAW covers it with a six year warranty.
