Dynacord VZX-8 Eight-Zone Audio Processor

The VZX-8 is an eight-zone audio processor with 20 processed input sources, including eight balanced mic/line inputs, feeding eight processed zone outputs. Its full matrix DSP covers input EQ, compression, AGC, noise gate, FX, room EQ and loudspeaker EQ with FIR, so a multi-zone install is tuned inside one box instead of across a chain of outboard.

A virtual mixer with automixer and effects is available for live mixing on any zone, and SONICUE speaker databases for Electro-Voice and other loudspeakers set the output processing without hand-building presets. A 32 GB microSD card ships with it for music, messages and configuration files. Two RJ45 accessory ports run reliably to 1640 feet (500 m) each and carry up to 16 devices in total, which is how VCS-8 call stations and VWP wall panels with level, zone and source control are added to the system.
