DPA Microphones DPA ST2011 Stereo Pair with Two Matched 2011 Twin Diaphragm Cardioid Microphones
The 2011 builds its cardioid pattern from two diaphragms and a short interference tube instead of one large element, and takes 153 dB SPL peak before it gives up. That combination is why it turns up on snare drums, guitar cabinets and brass as often as on a main pair. Sold here as a selected pair with holders, windscreens and a Peli case.
ST2011A uses the full-length MMP-A bodies; ST2011C uses the compact MMP-C bodies for tight positions. Either way the capsules are the same twin-diaphragm cardioid.
