DPA Microphones DPA ST4006A Stereo Pair with Two Matched 4006A Omnidirectional Microphones

The ST4006A is a matched pair of 4006A omnidirectional microphones - the flat, 10 Hz to 20 kHz pressure transducer that classical engineers have used as a reference for decades - selected so that the two capsules track each other within DPA's stated matching tolerance. That matters on an AB or Decca tree, where any mismatch between the pair shows up as a smear in the middle of the image.

The pair ships with holders, windscreens and a Peli case, which is how these actually travel. Each microphone is an MMC4006 capsule on an MMP-A preamp, so the same bodies can be re-voiced later with a different capsule.
