DPA Microphones DPA ST4011 Stereo Pair with Two Matched 4011 Cardioid Microphones
Two 4011 cardioids selected as a matched pair, with holders, windscreens and a Peli case. The 4011 is the DPA cardioid that behaves off axis - the rear rejection is real and the pattern keeps its shape across the band, which is what makes a coincident or near-coincident pair hold together instead of turning hollow at the edges.
The two versions differ in body, not in capsule. ST4011A uses the full-length MMP-A preamp bodies, 170 mm each; ST4011C uses the short MMP-C bodies for positions where a full-length pencil mic will not fit, such as inside a piano or under a cymbal.
