DPA Microphones DPA MMC2006 Twin Diaphragm Omnidirectional Capsule

The MMC2006 uses two small diaphragms working together instead of one larger one, which gives an omnidirectional capsule a gentle 3 dB lift around 14 kHz without the phase penalty of a pressure-equalizer sphere. It is the capsule in the 2006A, and it is aimed at the same work as the 4006 at a lower cost of entry.

Sold as a capsule for the modular system. On an MMP-A preamp it measures as a 2006A; on the compact MMP-C it becomes a short mic for spot positions. Specifications below are for the capsule measured as a complete 2006A.
