The 5100 has five capsules and a set of baffles that a generic cover would fight. The OC5100 is cut for that body: it keeps rain off and reduces wind noise without closing off the paths the array relies on for its imaging.

DPA specifies it whenever the 5100 goes outdoors. For serious wind, the WJ5100 fur goes over the top.
