DPA Microphones DPA 4099 Instrument Microphone Clips
Every 4099 instrument microphone reads an instrument through its clip, not through interchangeable mounts, so DPA cuts a different clip for a bass, a cello, a drum shell, a guitar bridge, a piano frame, a sax or trumpet bell, a violin or mandolin scroll, and a universal option for anything not on that list. Each clip fits the 4099's MicroDot boom and positions the capsule the same distance and angle off the instrument that DPA measured its published response against.
These ship 10 to a case, sized for a rental house or a house-of-worship program restocking clips across a fleet of 4099s rather than replacing one at a time. The microphone itself is sold separately; buy the clip that matches the instrument you are miking.
