Datavideo VP-901 Distribution Amplifier

The VP-901 is a 1-in, 8-out distribution amplifier that takes a single SDI source and fans it out to eight destinations without loss. It handles everything from SD up through 12G-SDI, so one 4K UHD feed can drive a wall of monitors, recorders, and switchers at the same time. Each output is reclocked, which cleans up jitter and lets the signal survive long cable runs that would otherwise degrade a 4K stream.

Embedded audio passes through with the video on every output, and front-panel LEDs indicate signal lock and the detected video rate so an operator can confirm the feed at a glance. Connections are all BNC, one input and eight outputs, and the unit runs on a simple 12V DC jack, making it an easy drop-in for a rack or a flypack.
