Clear-Com SFP Transceiver Module

SFP modules are how a Clear-Com system leaves the rack on whatever the building already has in the ground. The cage is a standard mechanical interface found on the Arcadia Central Station, Eclipse HX E-IPA, FreeSpeak Edge Base and Transceiver, FreeSpeak II Base and Splitter, HelixNet and E-MADI; the module dropped into it decides whether the link runs on copper, multi-mode fibre or single-mode fibre.

Two families are stocked. The 1G LAN modules move Ethernet at 1250 Mbps: RJ45 copper to 100m, multi-mode 850nm to 500m, single-mode 1310nm to 10km. The 100M E1 modules carry Clear-Com's E1 transceiver and MADI links at 155 Mbps, multi-mode to 3km and single-mode to 15km, and replace the legacy HLI-MMFO and HLI-SMFO parts. Clear-Com tests and supports these modules; it does not guarantee operation with third-party SFPs, so match the module to the run rather than to a generic part.
