Chauvet DJ RFC Wireless RF Remote Control

RFC is the handheld remote for Chauvet DJ fixtures with a built-in RF receiver. It works at 433 MHz with an omnidirectional signal, which is the difference that matters against an infrared remote: it does not need to be pointed at the fixture, and it works through people, a truss leg or a wall.

Unobstructed range is 100 ft (30 m), and a telescopic antenna helps the signal reach fixtures at the far end of a room. It covers different fixture types on the same handset, including washes and moving heads, and at 2.6 oz it lives in a pocket for the length of a set.
