Chauvet DJ 4BAR Hex ILS Wash Light System

The 4BAR Hex ILS is the whole wash rig in one carry: four adjustable pods on a 45.7-inch bar, 42 hex-color LEDs behind them, and a tripod, two bags, a power cord and a wireless footswitch packed alongside. Six emitters per LED - red, green, blue, amber, white and UV - mean the pastel and skin-tone territory that trips up an RGB bar is well inside its range, and the 16-degree beam holds together across a room rather than washing out at the back.

Control scales with the job. Out of the box the 433 MHz footswitch runs it from 100 feet away with no data cable; an IRC-6 handles static colors and programs; a D-Fi USB dongle in the built-in port makes it wireless master, slave or DMX. As an ILS fixture it also follows a GigBAR or ILS Command automatically, so the bar and the rest of the rig stay on the same show. Wired control is 6, 8 or 27 channels on 3-pin XLR. Built-in truss bolts let it leave the tripod behind when the venue has a bar to hang from.
