Chauvet DJ DMX-RT4 DMX Recorder and Playback Unit
The DMX-RT4 records a DMX show off a console once and then plays it back forever without the console. Four triggers fire four independent looks or sequences, each programmed separately, and each accepts a normally open or normally closed contact - which means almost any wall switch, motion sensor or door contact can run it. Auto and toggle modes cover the unattended installs.
Thirty-two gigabytes of onboard memory hold the shows, and a 3.5 mm jack plays a matching MP3 or WAV track out to a house system, so a lighting cue and its audio stay locked together. Show files copy and back up over USB-C, and password protection keeps a finished install from being edited by the next person with a laptop. A terminal block supplies 12 VDC at 100 mA to power a trigger device. It runs on the included 12 VDC supply and draws about one watt.
