Canon RF35mm F1.8 Macro IS STM

The RF35mm F1.8 Macro IS STM is a wide-normal prime for the EOS R system that doubles as a close-up lens. Its f/1.8 aperture opens up low light and gives a shallow depth of field, while the 0.5x maximum magnification lets it fill the frame with small subjects for detail work, product shots, and food. Optical image stabilization corrects up to 5 stops of shake, which helps when you hand-hold at slow shutter speeds or shoot macro without a tripod.

A lead-screw STM motor drives focus quietly and smoothly for both stills and video, and the front control ring can be assigned to aperture, ISO, or exposure compensation. The lens mounts natively on any EOS R-series camera and takes 52mm screw-in filters. It ships with the E-52II front cap and the RF rear dust cap.
